FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What do I need to rent a vehicle? You need a valid driver’s license, an identity document or passport, and a card in the primary driver’s name for the applicable guarantee or deposit. We also need an email address and phone number where we can reach you during the trip. Final requirements are confirmed before the vehicle is delivered. Do you accept a foreign driver’s license? Yes. We accept a current, readable foreign license when it authorizes the holder to drive in its country of issue. For longer stays, licenses that are not in Spanish or English, or whenever an authority requires it, we recommend carrying an international driving permit as well. An international permit must accompany the original license; it does not replace it. What is the minimum age? The demonstration policy is configured for primary drivers who are at least 25 years old. The merchant may set a different age by category or insurer, so confirm the applicable rule before traveling. Young-driver charges or additional requirements may apply when a rate allows a younger driver. Is insurance included? The published rates show the rental and the taxes configured for this demonstration, but they should not be treated as an insurance policy. The reservation may offer additional coverage for USD 18 per day, subject to its terms and exclusions. Before you receive the car, we will explain the applicable coverage, any deductible, and the liability that remains with the driver. How does fuel work? The fuel policy is shown on the vehicle details and in the confirmation. As a practical rule, receive the vehicle with the documented fuel level and return it at that same level. If the tank is returned below the agreed level, the merchant may charge for the missing fuel and the applicable refueling service. Keep receipts if you need to document a recent fuel purchase. Is there a mileage limit? A limit may apply depending on the vehicle and rate. The public vehicle details show included kilometers when they are configured and the excess-mileage fee when applicable. If a condition is shown as unspecified, request written confirmation before pickup; do not assume mileage is unlimited. Can I pick up at the airport? Yes. The demonstration seed is configured for delivery and pickup at Las Américas International Airport (SDQ) in Santo Domingo. Include your flight and arrival details in the reservation so we can coordinate the meeting point. Access to authorized airport areas and any operating fee must be confirmed with the merchant. What happens if my flight is delayed? Send us your flight number, airline, and expected arrival time. If the flight is delayed, notify us on WhatsApp as soon as you receive the update. We will do our best to adjust delivery, but a long delay may require rescheduling and may depend on availability. Do not simply abandon the reservation: the outcome can depend on how much notice we receive and on the cancellation policy. How do I pay? This demonstration uses pay-on-delivery. You review and confirm the reservation online, and payment is arranged when we deliver the vehicle. The total is displayed in USD and includes the configured 18% ITBIS tax. A card in the driver’s name is requested for the applicable guarantee or deposit; that does not mean an online charge has been made. Can I cancel? Yes. Request cancellation through the channel listed in your confirmation. As a reference, a cancellation made more than 48 hours in advance may receive a full refund; between 24 and 48 hours may receive a partial refund; less than 24 hours in advance or a no-show may incur charges. Review the full cancellation and refund policy, especially when the reservation is connected to a cancelled flight. Can I change the dates or add a driver? Request changes through WhatsApp before pickup. Changes depend on availability and may alter the rate, taxes, or extras. An additional driver must be approved, provide their own documents, and be included in the agreement; do not let another person drive before they are registered.
